There’s no Brokenness greater than God’s Fixidness
The resurrection of Jesus Christ, when God the Father raised his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, was the singular most concentrated moment of love, ever. There is no other singularity (a meshing of technology and man) that will ever eclipse Christ’ resurrection from the dead. At that moment, Jesus’ human suffering on the cross; all the trials and temptations he faced as the only God-man; yet, without sin, came to fruition. He bore all of humanity’s sins for he knew the eternal peace and perfect relationship he would have with the Father. He experienced the joy of knowing that any who would believe in Him would also share in the same overcoming of sin and death. It is for us that God the Father sent His Son – in order that we can experience the fullness, in Christ, that comes when being able to be with the Father, freed from sin.
You don’t have to wait for your good deeds to outweigh your bad deeds to have this peace. Have it right now by asking Jesus into your heart. Have confidence and conviction, through the Holy Spirit, that what Jesus said is true, as quoted to the doubting disciple, Thomas, and the rest of his disciples, recorded for all time in John 14:6,
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
When deep sea fishing it is said that if one becomes seasick it is best to look to the horizon, for it alone is fixed. Everything else is subject to move but the horizon can be counted on for it alone never changes. Parachutists use this same practice when preparing to jump from airplanes.
The Bible in Hebrews 13:8 states:
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”
He, the Father and the Holy Spirit are the all-knowing, all-present, all-powerful and all-loving CONSTANT, for all time.
A horizon may be adequate for seasickness;
but the Lord is all that is needed to overcome this world –
John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” – Jesus Christ
Romans 8:38,39
“38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
